NOTE: Any overnight headcount over 8 REQUIRES the purchase of the trailer add-on. This is offered during or after booking for $45 p/night- no cleaning fee. Headcounts under 8 have the option to rent the trailer as well, but aren't required. Parker Farm is designed for guests who want privacy, comfort, and room to spread out without being far from town. The main house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with the option to add Spring Peepers, a private A-frame camper suite that functions as a 4th bedroom for an additional fee. The property sits on nearly 5 acres at the end of a quiet private drive, with open land, a wildlife pond, wetland habitat, and peaceful outdoor spaces throughout. Inside, the home is bright, modern, and fully stocked for real stays, not just quick overnights. You’ll find floor-to-ceiling windows, a modern wood-burning stove, comfortable furnishings, a Bosch 800 Series kitchen, Samsung Frame TV with theater speakers, Starlink Wi-Fi, hotel-quality linens, blackout curtains, and self check-in. Coffee setup: French press, Breville espresso maker, drip coffee, pods, teas, cream, sweeteners, and high-quality ground and whole-bean coffee. Kitchen and dining: Fully stocked Bosch 800 Series kitchen with everything needed for family meals, plus indoor and outdoor dining areas. Outdoor spaces: Gas grill, firepit with marshmallow sticks, screened porch, dining area, hammocks, swing chairs, open lawn, and quiet places to wander. Guests can walk the private drive, explore the small hidden trail in the back, or visit nearby Gardener’s Produce for fresh eggs and produce when open. Pond fishing is seasonal and only available November through March. Bedroom layout: The main floor has a king bedroom and full bathroom, with no stairs required once inside. Upstairs, there is a queen bedroom with pond and field views, a shared full bathroom with tub, and a sunlit bedroom with one queen bed, one twin bed, and a kids’ nook with games, books, a TV, and bean bag chair. A 13-inch inflatable mattress with bedding is also available. Family amenities: Pack and play, high chair, inflatable baby bath, board games, books, outdoor games, kid-friendly spaces, hammocks, swings, and seasonal fishing poles by request. Bath and laundry: Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, Gilden Tree cotton honeycomb towels, hair dryer, straightener, iron, laundry pods, and dishwasher pods. It sits in its own clearing about 75 feet from the main house, with water and marsh views. It works as an extra glamping-style bedroom, not a full living space. There is no bathroom or kitchen inside, but it is a short walk to the main house, outdoor dining area, grill, and firepit. Inside Spring Peepers: Double bed, best for guests 5'10" and under Dinette that converts to a single bed AC and heat Mini fridge and coffee bar Games, storage, and hanging space Outside Spring Peepers: Hammock Two-person hanging swing Soft string lighting Privacy while still being close to the house Local area: You’re about 6 minutes from groceries, restaurants, shops, Tanger Outlets, lake access, and a local winery. Please review the photos for shower details if mobility access is important. Wildlife note: Parker Farm is home to a huge variety of birds, deer, herons, raptors, fireflies, Spring Peeper and bullfrogs, turtles, rabbits, and our resident beaver, Miss Dixie. Guests occasionally see her crossing from the pond toward the wooded area near the driveway circle, sometimes with her babies. Please enjoy the wildlife from a respectful distance.

Other Details to Note

This home is owner-managed, thoughtfully prepared, and cleaned with care. Self check-in is private and easy, and I’m available by message if you need anything during your stay. House rules: No smoking inside the home. No parties are permitted under Mebane short-term rental rules. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:30 AM. Trash: Please take all bagged trash and recycling to the bins at the end of Parker Farm Road near the mailboxes on Jones Street. The easiest method is to bring it with you every time you leave the property - most guests find it simplest to hang the bag on the side mirror or hold it out the window for the short drive to the bins. Rural property note: Parker Farm is a rural North Carolina property, so you may encounter normal country-life elements. Ticks are possible, so long pants and/or tick spray are recommended when walking around the property. Spray is provided under the kitchen sink. Snakes are also possible. I have only seen black rat snakes, which are harmless and help control rodents, and copperheads. Poison ivy is treated regularly, but may still appear in wooded or natural areas. Neighbor dogs: If the neighbor’s two small pint-sized pits come onto the property, please do not feed or interact with them. They are friendly, but they do not belong on the property, and feeding them encourages repeat visits. All are welcome here.

I have stayed at many properties and this by far was one of the most comfortable homes I’ve stayed in. The home itself is in a peaceful location and was the perfect place to stay while celebrating my daughters graduation from Elon. The decor was inviting and thoughtfully designed. The host was responsive to all my questions. Thanks for sharing your home.

Our farmhouse stay was absolutely excellent from start to finish. The property was peaceful, beautiful, and incredibly relaxing. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, which made us feel right at home the moment we arrived. The setting was the perfect retreat, and we truly enjoyed every part of our stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and memorable getaway.

Highly recommend! Have stayed here several times and always great communication with the host and great house & property. All the privacy you can ask for. Out of the nearly 100 Airbnbs I’ve stayed in, the kitchen by far is the best one. Has everything you need to cook. Will definitely stay again.

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at Barbara's beautiful farmhouse. We've stayed in dozens of Airbnbs and this one was one of the cleanest and homiest. It was clear that Barbara put a lot of thought and love into the home. The property was lovely and private, but very close to many conveniences. Barbara was welcoming and friendly to interact with. We will definitely return if we are in the area again!

Great location and beautiful property! Absolutely loved watching the leaves fall this time of year and only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the indoor fireplace. The natural light through all the windows was my favorite part! We will definitely be back!
